This 2011 seems alright up to now.
It started with some fantastic fireworks exploding off the buildings of Melbourne's CBD.
It continued with pancake-making for New Year's Day breakfast, which inspired some predictions for the year ahead: A little tricky to start with, but will get a lot easier as you go on. Very rewarding, but will be gone before you know it...
It proceeded to the movies for The King's Speech, which reminds you of all you love, hate, love-to-hate, and hate-to-love about the dear old United Kingdom.
It paused for a jolly barbecue with friends.
And then it moved on to the incomparable Yarra Valley for a walk that has been ably documented by my fellow blogger.
Couldn't have designed it better myself.
