We usually hire our cars from 10 am to 10 am, and on the last day, we just drive out somewhere scenic to eat breakfast.

On one such occasion last year, we discovered ~{purplepost~=1114~;text~=Pasir Pandak~;target~=pasirpandak~}, and we decided to head back there again today.

Beautiful...

One of the curiosities was the mudskipper population. We've often seen mudskippers, but always, I think, among mangroves and on mudflats. We don't recall ever seeing them on the beach. But here there were loads:

This time, instead of walking east to the village, we took the car a bit further west, and visited another couple of little beaches.

These strandlets might have names, but we can't find them. So this is "Beach 1":

Then back to the car, where we took the path to "Beach 2", notable for its pretty rock formations:

If only you can get out of your four walls, Sarawak is just full of interest.
