On Monday we did a slightly extended version of ~{link~= http://www.gps-routes.co.uk/routes/home.nsf/RoutesLinksWalks/collingham-walking-route# ~;text~=this route to Cromwell Lock~;target~=cromwelllock~}.

The meadows do a great job of soaking your supposedly waterproof boots, but otherwise it was a very pleasant trail.

It was a little chilly on that overcast day (you can measure the temperature by the amount of kit the fishermen are pressing into service, and that day they were all hidden away in their tents). But still enjoyable.

Collingham is full of picturesque little angles: red brick, an unusual style of stone, cute little doors in walls, big old trees...
