Today we went to Skegness, in ~{purplepost~=1195~;text~=memory~;target~=doug~} of someone who loved this place.

We did all the things he would have done. We chose a route that went via RAF Cranwell. We found a cafe that had pavement tables in the sun and out of the wind, and we ordered fish and chips. We walked the shopping streets and the park and the seafront. We bought ice creams, which we sat and ate in a nice sheltered spot.
