Where do you find the time to correct the times?

The old steam train reverses into the platform on a sunny and not to cold May afternoon in England. Here it comes:

It passes you, emitting clouds of steam and plumes of smoke:

Then you notice that on this website the first picture is filed under 1st May and the second the 2nd May.

It is at that point that you realize that though you knew you were in Whitby, England snapping the wonders of the days of steam, your camera, despite the temperature and the local accent, still believed it was in Malaysia!

You start a detailed look at the date of other photographs and discover, much as you expected, that this is not the only occasion that this occurs in the modern 'digital' era.

Then you look at your old digitized print photographs and the guesses you made about when they were taken.
Apparently you went on holiday, took a photo, and then went back to the same place a month later to take a similar shot. Some days you were not only in two different places, even countries, but you kept moving between the two locations between shots. A neat trick if you can do it!

So it seems that I have some work to do correcting all this, if I can find the time.
