-- Being befriended by a new cat (who's especially fond of Rufus)

-- Reacquainting ourselves with the local pecel lady's excellent product (we don't go there often, because it's a little too far away for a lunchtime walk, so every time we go back, the tangy, spicy, fresh-tasting pecel is a lovely new surprise)

-- Thinking what a fabulous commute to work I have (I must make a movie of it one day)

-- Generally enjoying the services of Rufus, who (ably piloted by Nigel) made it possible one afternoon this week to pay Speedy, pick up our railway tickets AND buy a wedding present, without it all becoming a major epic
