This wedding was distinctive for three reasons:

-- It was the wedding connected with the lamaran we attended back in December.

-- It was the first multicultural wedding reception we've attended here in Yogya.

-- And it was the first time we've been to a wedding on our motorbike.

Drizzle threatened, but stayed largely away. (Yes, we've had several lots of rain this week. What's going on with the dry season?)

The food at Tembi was excellent, as usual. (It included some more of that yummy ginger thing we had at New Year's, which it turns out was wedang ronde.)

And of course, they looked lovely.
