We packed an entire season's worth of activities into my day off today.

We have:

-- Checked out the giant Monopoly board at Quill (which has to be the city's most original Christmas offering);



-- Done our Christmas newsletter (which involved lots of selfies in front of the traveller mural at Quill);





-- Bought our M&S seasonal cake ready for our return (God willing) from Japan (Genoa cake this year);

-- Tried out Just Juice's festive offering (Cherry Angel, consisting of strawberries, cherries, cranberry juice, dried apricots, mango, and vanilla ice cream -- delicious, as they always are);

-- Eaten the free Spekulatius biscuits (the ones that came with the Cherry Angels) at home with a cup of tea.

Not a bad day's work, I reckon.
