KL diary: Warmth...
by prudence on 25-Nov-2016-- Warm fuzzies at Quill, where the terracotta warrior has transformed himself into Santa Claus. Love it... He's truly the warrior for all festivals
-- Hui Lau Shan. Warm peanut soup with little squidgy balls. And hot rosehip, aloe, and pear tea.
-- A Spanish-flavoured MPO "happy hour" concert, entitled Embrujo (spell, or enchantment). And, indeed, it was spell-binding. Various combos of piano, violin, cello, clarinet, and two guitars (which, when played all together, make a quite fantastic sound). A mix of vivacious classical and rollicking flamenco. Not just warm -- fiery.
-- Lunch at Sopoong. Always nice. I had steaming tteokguk. Quintessential comfort food.
-- Pandan Swiss roll. Actually not warm, but thoroughly delicious. Just what you need when you're waist-deep in marking.
