Saturday was the equinox, which we celebrated, because we celebrate everything.

Yesterday we had breakfast with a friend. We chose an airy foodcourt, with plenty of space between the tables, and we sat the regulation distance away from her. It was nice. I'd not had nasi lemak for ages. But the constant weighing up of the risk/reward ratio for such ordinary things as having breakfast with a friend is unutterably wearisome.

The end of the week has also been marred by tussles with insurance companies (I remain ~{purplepost~=911~;text~=uninsurable~;target~=uninsurable~}, and that's how it's always going to be, as far as I can see).
