I like to make at least one post each and every month, if only to avoid any gaps in the by month list.

Now I could just leave it at that but to fill it out a bit:

Most of the pigeons of Caulfield station seem to have moved on to other train spotting locations.

You can see a large gathering of what are probably Corella sitting on the power lines south of Dandenong station most weekday mornings. They may be there at the weekends as well; but I am not.

The Pakenham line continues to be the Pakenham line with good days and not so good days. Recent highlights include moving over the footbridge from platform 2 to platform 3 because of the announcement that the "next train to Flinders Street will depart from platform 3". Then whilst sitting on said train at platform 3 we all got to watch a Flinders Street limited express service arrive at and depart from platform 2.

You just have time this afternoon to rush out and do one or two places of Melbourne Open House 2011 but make sure you do not miss next year.

The evenings are definitely getting longer.
