Weird, weird week...

We've been back in Malaysia for six days.
Until today, we were back in the comfort of the inimitable Vivatel, whose excellent rooms are matched only by its super-convenient location and wonderful staff.
Unfortunately, they didn't have room for us for our last two nights in Malaysia. So we're in another hotel not far away. Also nice, but just not the same.
Last two nights in Malaysia? Yes, gentle reader, we have the visas...
It took three visits to the embassy (but one was because we forgot about the Indonesian public holiday on Tuesday...). It took more forms, more photos, and more money. But we have the visas...
Apart from that little enterprise, the week has revolved around finishing off the Taiwan stuff, and working some more on THAT article. It's now been worked on in Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. A much-travelled article.
It's felt like a very circumscribed week. We've spent it in a very small geographical area. We've had limited time. It's felt like we've been in a waiting room.
