Another remnant of a distant era, unearthed in 1991. Largely plain; probably dedicated to Shiva; maybe a place where people married; but actually all pretty mysterious. There's little left.

It's not far from our home, but it's dashed tricky to find. On temple-seeking little trips you have to be prepared for the journey to be as important as the destination, as you buzz round villages and rice-fields, pestering locals, and consulting Google maps.

Of course, it helps if you ask for Situs Mantup as opposed to Candi Mandut...
