Too little time in Yogya...
by prudence on 31-Aug-2018As I have already pointed out, my unfortunate illness in Karimunjawa not only cut our Yogya stay in half but also burdened it with work that should have been finished before we got here. And given that I'm still lacking in energy, it's been a low-key kind of visit, with little accomplished.
On the other hand, a short and weary stay in Yogya is undoubtedly better than no stay in Yogya.
So here's my little celebration -- following the pictorial pattern I adopted last time -- of my favourite new things:
-- jus peyem (made from fermented rice and cassava)
-- new cafes, or cafes we were trying for the first time (Tujuan; Loko; which is conveniently close to the station; Tirana; and Warung Bu Ageng)
-- and the ever-changing street art and street scenes
